About

The *Middle East Journal of Refugee Studies* is published by the International Refugee Rights Association and has been issued biannually since 2016. It is a peer-reviewed academic journal with Turkish and English as its publication languages.

The primary aim of the journal is to provide a platform for researchers, non-governmental organizations, and policymakers to communicate, benefit from each other's practical experiences and research findings, and explore new research questions through the published works. In this capacity, the journal is dedicated to facilitating the sharing of scientific knowledge.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo evaluation by at least two independent reviewers through a double-blind peer review process. Articles that pass the review process are made freely available via open access on the journal's website. Researchers wishing to submit manuscripts must review the journal's publication policies and writing guidelines and upload their articles through the designated system.

**Note:** Plagiarism similarity reports must be obtained by the authors through *iThenticate*, *Turnitin*, or *intihal.net* and submitted as a separate file along with the manuscript. Articles without a similarity report or with a similarity rate exceeding 3% from a single source or a total similarity rate exceeding 20% will not be considered for review. The plagiarism report must be uploaded in the "similarity report" section after uploading the manuscript.
