Mersin University Journal of Health Sciences began to be published in 2008 under the Mersin University Institute of Health Sciences, under the editorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gönül Aslan. Prof. Dr. Gönül Aslan handed over her position to Prof. Dr. Caferi Tayyar Şaşmaz in March 2015. Prof. Dr. Caferi Tayyar Şaşmaz handed over the position of Editor-in-Chief to Prof. Dr. Özlem İzci Ay on January 1, 2023. Our journal, which has received publications via e-mail and has been published both online and in print since the day it began its publication life, started to be published only online as of the May 2014 issue.

Mersin University Journal of Health Sciences  has adopted an open access policy, and no fee is requested at the stages of manuscript submission, evaluation, and publication in our journal. All articles published in our journal can be accessed free of charge from the Archive.
