Çöpçü Reseptörler ve Hepatit C ile İlişkisi

Year 2012, Volume: 5 Issue: 3, 9 - 17, 01.09.2012

Abstract

AbstractScavenger Receptors and its Association with Hepatitis C The main tasks of scavenger receptors playing an important role in innate and adaptive immunity are to recognize the modified biomolecules and then, mediate their destruction and removal from the body. Scavenger receptors which are divided into eight different classes (A–H) play a significant role in the pathogenesis of many diseases. Hepatitis C, affecting the liver, is a severe infection diseases causing chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. In recent years, it has been indicated that some scavenger receptors take an important part in the pathogenesis of hepatitis C virus, and hence, might be a potential target for new anti-viral drugs. In this review, significant features of scavenger receptors and the relation of some of these receptors to the hepatitis C virus were discussed.

Çöpçü Reseptörler ve Hepatit C ile İlişkisi

Year 2012, Volume: 5 Issue: 3, 9 - 17, 01.09.2012
