Aim & Scope

The Mergen Journal of Thought Leaders is an academically rigorous, double-blind peer-reviewed, and open-access scientific journal published by Gazipaşa Science High School. The core objective of the journal is to facilitate and encourage academic output at an early age and to stimulate talented individuals, who are at the beginning of their professional journey, toward scientific article production.


In alignment with this vision, the journal strives to achieve the following:

1. Promote Original Thought: To provide a platform for new-generation researchers to publish their original ideas and interdisciplinary research across various fields.

2. Integrate into the Academic Process: To involve authors early in crucial academic processes, such as the double-blind peer review system, publication ethics, and scientific reporting. This practice is intended to foster a culture of scientific literacy and research-based learning.

3. Ensure Academic Integrity: To maintain an uncompromising commitment to the highest academic criteria and scientific ethical principles, providing a reputable venue for emerging scholarship.



The Mergen Journal is committed to making all of its content freely accessible to the global scientific community without requesting any submission or article processing fees.

The Mergen Journal of Thought Leaders is committed to publishing academically sound manuscripts that have successfully passed the double-blind peer review process and adhere to ethical scientific principles. The journal actively seeks submissions that are interdisciplinary and align with the core mission of fostering scientific literacy and critical thinking. 


Submissions must fall within one of the following broad academic fields and their corresponding sub-disciplines:

Educational Sciences: Education Programs and Teaching , Educational Technologies , Measurement and Assessment , AI in Education and Digital Learning , and Student Development and Guidance.

Social Sciences and Humanities: Sociology , Psychology , Philosophy , History , Geography , Cultural Studies , and Media and Communication.

Language and Literature Studies: Turkish Language and Literature , English Linguistics , Comparative Literature , Language Teaching , and Narrative, Discourse, and Text Analysis.

Natural Sciences: Physics , Chemistry , Biology , Mathematics , and Scientific Modeling and Experimental Studies.

Engineering and Technology: Computer Sciences , Software and Algorithms , Electrical-Electronics , Robotics and Autonomous Systems , and Mechatronics and Design.
