Prof. Dr. Dina Çakmur Yıldırtan is a faculty member at the Faculty of Financial Sciences at Marmara University. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Banking and Insurance at Marmara University. Her core research interests include financial econometrics, time series analysis, financial stress, and financial fragility indicators.
She has an advanced command of English and has published numerous academic articles, book chapters, and conference papers in international peer-reviewed journals. In 2024, she conducted academic work at Kingston University Business School (United Kingdom) during a sabbatical research leave. She has also served as a visiting researcher and academic representative at international institutions such as the University of Málaga and the University of Maryland – Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Her scientific consultancy experience includes TÜBİTAK-funded projects and various financial research initiatives. She actively serves as an editor and reviewer for international academic journals and has presented her work at numerous international conferences, maintaining an active role within the academic community.
The scope of the Journal of Finance Letters consists of studies in the fields of economics, public finance, finance, and banking.
