EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL TRUST AND COMMITMENT LEVEL OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between primary school teachers’ organizational commitment levels and trust levels. The design of this research was the correlational model. The sample of this research was 805 primary school teachers. According to findings of this research, the school commitment levels of primary school teachers are quite high. There were significant differences in the organizational commitment levels of primary school teachers according to gender, seniority, seniority in the school, branch and graduate from faculty variables. The school trust levels of primary school teachers are quite high. There were also significant differences in the organizational trust levels of primary school teachers according to seniority, branch and graduation level variables. Also, there was a positive correlation between the levels of organizational commitment and trust of primary school teachers. In line with these results to improve commitment level of the new and young primary school teachers began to the profession and school it may be suggested to be organized positive working environments and orientation programs
