ARE SEARCH ON LITERARY ELEMENTS

Abstract

Mehmet Âkif has performed political and social life of period he lived very successfully. So, especially, he is evaluated with this respect. In his poet book named Safahat, he evaluates the art and the literature. According to him the literature should serve the social life and the human’s future. He says that the literature in our country, doesn’t answer this necessity and it almost numbs the people. He emphasizes his ideas comparing the literature with the others. In societies very keen on poet like us, conscious artists can direct the society more healthy. If so kind artists don’t grow in our country, this situation shows that we don’t appreciate this group enough. The society needs excessively the poet which is lighted up by science and faith and the artists which will write it.

SAFAHAT’TA EDEBİYATA AİT UNSURLAR ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Mehmet Âkif, yaşadığı devrin siyasî ve sosyal hayatını çok başarılı bir şekilde işlemiştir. Bu yüzden, daha çok bu yönüyle değerlendirilmiştir. Safahat isimli şiir kitabında, sanatı ve edebiyatı değerlendirmiştir. Ona göre edebiyat, sosyal hayata ve insanın geleceğine hizmet etmelidir. Bizde edebiyatın bu ihtiyaca cevap vermediğini, âdeta milleti uyuşturduğunu söyler. Bu düşüncesini edebiyatları karşılaştırarak, vurgulamaya çalışır. Bizim gibi şiire çok düşkün toplumlarda, bilinçli sanatkârlar toplumu daha sağlıklı yönlendirebilirler. Böyle sanatkârların yetişmemesi, bu gruba gereken değeri vermediğimizi gösterir. İlmin ve imânın aydınlattığı şiire ve onu yazacak sanatkârlara toplumun her zamankinden fazla ihtiyacı vardır
