About

Mizanu’l-Haqq: Journal of Islamic Studies (MIZAN) is a double blind peer-reviewed international journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Izmir Kâtip Çelebi University, Izmir, Turkey. The Journal publishes research papers in the fields of religion in general, Islam in particular twice a year, in December and in June.

The main objective of MIZAN is to provide an intellectual platform for the scholars of religion and of Islam to share their research with the scientific milieu. It is expected that the manuscripts submitted for publication make scholarly contribution to religious and Islamic studies, address practical as well as theoretical issues preparing the ground for discussing the religious problems that individuals and communities face, and put forward a set of proposals for consideration and exchange of ideas.
