In Turkey, vocational schools (VS) applied with higher education and job training are intended to reduce youth unemployment. On-the-job trainings are at the forefront nowadays as one of the applications of the Vocational School students to the labor market. With this application, the students are given the qualifications needed by the labor market from one side and the students from the other side are aiming to recognize these markets. In this way, while students gain labor practices on the one hand, they contribute to small wage incomes and their budget. The purpose of this research is to reveal the progress/retrenchment of the on-the-job training, which is being implemented in Honaz VS of Pamukkale University for 5 periods in 4 programs, in terms of the criteria determined according to today | s point. According to the results of the research, increasing scores were obtained for each variable evaluating the quality of workplace training. According to this, it can be said that on-the-job training in vocational schools is a successful model for fulfilling the function of providing quality to the students and is receiving increasing support.
