Articles must be created according to the following rules. (update 16/03/2025) In order for manuscripts to go through the review process quickly and smoothly, the template rules must be followed. All relevant files can be found in the FILES section.
Manuscripts submitted to our journal should be written in IMRaD (Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion) format to ensure clear, consistent and systematic scientific communication.
Author information should not be included in the text of all manuscript files (after initial upload and peer review) before the manuscript is accepted for publication.
Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the following guidelines. The abstract should not exceed 6,000 (six thousand) words, excluding the abstract, extended abstract, figures and tables, and references.
It is imperative to note that sections of the text requiring emphasis should not be written in bold font. It is imperative that emphasised sections are written in italics or enclosed in ‘single quotation marks’ ; under no circumstances should both be used simultaneously. Double quotation marks should only be used for direct quotations.
It is imperative that manuscripts are uploaded to the DergiPark system in Word format. Manuscripts that do not align with the Modular Journal template guidelines will not be considered for review.
The following format must be followed for headings:
MAIN HEADINGS: bold/14 point/all capital letters
Subheadings: bold/11 point/first letter of each word capitalised
Sub-subheadings: bold/11 point/italics
Second-level subheadings: flush with the text, italics and 11 point
Images should be included in the manuscript, in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines. The nomenclature of the images included in the manuscript should adhere to the established conventions for figures and charts. The editorial board of the journal reserves the right to request the removal of technically problematic or low-quality image files, or to remove them completely from the article. The author(s) are responsible for ensuring the quality of any images used as a source and for determining whether or not they are to be published.
It is not permissible to use footnotes for referencing purposes; they should be used solely for explanatory supplementary information. Furthermore, automatic numbering must be employed. In order to demonstrate references in footnotes, in-text citation methods must be utilised.
Quotations and Citations: References must follow the latest version of the APA (7th edition) referencing system. For details on the APA citation style guide, please see:
