The ethical rules and responsibilities listed below are in accordance with the guidelines and policies published by the "Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our journal promises to comply with these standards.
Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Ethical responsibilities of author(s) who submit articles to the National Palaces Art-History-Architecture Journal:
The studies should be submitted electronically by the authors via the DergiPark. The entire process of the magazine is carried out on the DergiPark.
The works submitted by the authors must be original and have not been published elsewhere before.
It should be stated if the submitted studies have situations and relationships that would constitute a conflict of interest.
They take into account the criticism, suggestions and evaluations of the author(s), Editorial Board or editor. The authors are expected to comply with the requested corrections meticulously and promptly and to send the final version of the article within 15 days.
The author(s) must cite the sources they used during the writing of the study correctly in accordance with ethical principles.
Raw data related to the study in the evaluation process should be presented when requested.
The author(s) must state that the research and publication ethics and copyright regulations for intellectual and artistic works have been complied with in the articles.
After the journal has gone through the editorial and peer review processes, it is made available with the "Early View" option for final review. After the identified deficiencies and errors are corrected, the new issue of the journal is published. When the author(s) become aware of an error in their article that has been published during the evaluation and early view stage, they should contact the editorial board to provide information, correct or withdraw it. The responsibility of the articles published in the journal belongs to the authors.
Ethical Duties and Responsibilities of the Editorial Board:
They should act in an objective, balanced and fair manner while performing their duties without discrimination based on the gender, ethnic, religious, religious and geographical origins of the author(s).
When deciding on the publication of articles, they should pay attention to the fact that the articles are original, contribute to the scientific field of writing, readers, researchers and practitioners.
They should implement the blind peer-review and evaluation process policies of the journal's publication policies and ensure that each article is evaluated impartially and within the specified time.
They should protect the personal data in the evaluated articles, the individual data of the authors, referees and readers.
They should accept articles that are suitable for the purpose and scope of the journal and reject those that are not suitable.
The board determines appropriate referees for the articles and supports the evaluation to be made in an impartial and independent manner.
They take care to ensure the protection of human rights in the studies they evaluate.
The approval of the ethics committee for the subjects used in the studies is responsible for refusing to work in cases where there are no permits for experimental research.

Publication Policy
The following ethical rules and responsibilities "are in line with the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Our journal promises to comply with these standards.
National Palaces Art-History-Architecture Journal is a peer-reviewed national journal and is published twice a year. (June-December)
In addition to research and compilation articles, publications such as review articles, book introductions and book reviews are also accepted.
The National Palaces Art-History-Architecture Journal accepts studies in Turkish and English. English studies are subject to the control of the Language Editor.
Articles submitted to the National Palaces Art-History-Architecture Journal must not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication; authors are considered to have undertaken this situation when submitting the article.
Articles that do not comply with the publication principles are not taken into the peer review process.
Valid scientific methods should be followed in the preparation of the article, the subject of the study, the purpose, the scope, the reason for preparation, etc. the information should be provided to an adequate extent and in a certain order.
The magazine published articles are not the views espoused the opinion of each work are the responsibility of the author.
If the research results that require the “Ethics Committee Decision” of the studies submitted to the National Palaces Art-History-Architecture Journal are included, the Ethics Committee uploads a copy of the Approval Form to the system during the application.
Submitting the study to the National Palaces Journal of Art-History-Architecture via DergiPark is considered an application for the study to be published.
