Peer Review Process

Evaluation of manuscripts and peer review process
Pre-assessment

All articles submitted to the journal are first subjected to a preliminary evaluation by the Editor and/or Editorial Board. Manuscripts that do not comply with the scope of the journal and/or the writing rules are rejected without preliminary evaluation.
Manuscripts that comply with the journal's scope and writing rules are pre-evaluated by the Editor or Editorial Board in terms of originality, contribution to the literature, language used, compliance with international research and publication ethics principles, plagiarism control, etc. The Editor may ask the author(s) to make some corrections. At this stage, no article is accepted for publication by the editor's decision without going through the referee process.
Articles with a similarity rate (excluding references) greater than 20% in the plagiarism report submitted by the authors are rejected. Articles that pass the preliminary evaluation stage and have a similarity rate below 20% are taken into the referee process, and the plagiarism report is not sent to the referees unless the referees request it.

Double-Blind Review Process
Articles that pass the preliminary evaluation and plagiarism check stages are sent to at least two referees determined by the editor and/or editorial board. The number of referees can be increased by the Editor or Editorial Board when necessary. Referees are selected from the referee pool by taking into account their areas of expertise.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscripts submitted to them in terms of originality, methodology, contribution to the literature, presentation of findings and support of results, and utilisation of previous studies. The referees may accept or reject the manuscript or ask the authors to make corrections to the format and/or abstract. For an article to be accepted for publication, at least two referees must give a favourable opinion. If one of the referee reports is positive and the other is negative, the manuscript is sent to a third referee.

Final Evaluation
The final evaluation and final decision is made by the Editor and/or the Editorial Board for all articles for which the referees have expressed a favourable opinion. Articles that are deemed "publishable" by the Editorial Board are placed in the publication queue.
