The Journal of Accounting and Finance Applications is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (February and July) by Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Kütahya Vocational School of Social Sciences. It is an international peer-reviewed scientific publication open to theoretical and applied research covering all subfields of accounting and finance. The journal focuses on interdisciplinary studies directly or indirectly related to accounting and finance, primarily covering topics such as financial accounting, cost and management accounting, auditing, tax accounting, public accounting, forensic accounting, sustainability accounting, financial reporting, corporate governance, internal control systems, risk management, banking, capital markets, investment analysis, portfolio management, financial performance evaluation, behavioral finance, corporate finance, and financial technologies. In addition, scientific research conducted in areas related to accounting and finance, such as economics, business administration, management, actuarial science, insurance, sustainability, digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, data analytics, and decision support systems, is also considered within the journal's publication scope. Scientific studies submitted for publication in the journal can be written in Turkish and English. The Journal of Accounting and Finance Applications is indexed in the Eurasian Scientific Journal Index (ESJI) and the Academic Resource Index (ResearchBib).

Studies submitted for publication in the Journal of Accounting and Finance Applications first undergo a preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Board. Studies deemed suitable are sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation. The Journal of Accounting and Finance Applications uses a double-blind peer review system. If one reviewer gives a negative opinion and the other a positive one, a third reviewer may be assigned, or the article may be returned to the author. At least two positive reviews are required for publication. The Journal of Accounting and Finance Applications pays attention to similarity rates to prevent any plagiarism attempts. This rate is set at 20%. In addition to original research articles, the Journal of Accounting and Finance Applications also accepts and publishes introductory articles, letters, conference reports, and book reviews.
