Manuscripts must be uploaded to the journal’s submission system by December 15 for the April issue and by May 15 for the October issue.
Accepted papers are scheduled for publication according to the availability of space and may appear in the following issue.

Evaluation and Publication Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Marmara University Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance are first examined for compliance with the journal’s writing rules.
They are then reviewed by the editor for relevance to the journal’s aims and scope before being subjected to a double-blind peer review.
Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal’s style guide, lack academic structure, footnotes, bibliography, or abstract will not be sent for peer review.
Academic impartiality and scientific merit are the principal criteria for evaluation.
Manuscripts deemed suitable for review are sent — with author names concealed — to two referees who are experts in the relevant field.
Peer review means obtaining the opinions and recommendations of field specialists for each submission.
If one referee report is positive and the other negative, the manuscript may be sent to a third referee, or the Editorial Board, a board member specialized in the field, or the editor may review the reports and make the final decision.
All referee reports are retained for five years.
Authors are expected to consider the critiques, suggestions, and evaluations of the referees, the editorial board, or the editor.
They must carefully implement the requested revisions and submit the revised version of the manuscript to the journal’s e-mail address within 15 days.
If the author(s) disagree with certain points, they have the right to appeal with justification or to withdraw the manuscript — in such cases, the final decision rests with the Editorial Board and/or the Editor.
The results of the evaluation process are communicated to the author(s) within three months at the latest.
Articles are published after the author(s) complete the required revisions in line with the reviewers’ and/or editor’s feedback.
Manuscripts not accepted for publication are not returned to the authors.
