Abstract

This study aims to investigate the opposition comprehension of Democrat Party which has an important place in the opposition tradition of Turkey. It is possible to take the opposition adventure of Turkey from the rebellion movements of Ottomon Empire to present day Turkish Republic. However, the legal politic opposition at assembly has been began by transition of many party life system from 1946. If that’s so, was DP actually oppose to? How did DP affect the opposition traditon of Turkey?

TÜRK MUHALEFET GELENEĞİNDE “DEMOKRAT PARTİ”

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Türk muhalefet geleneğinde önemli bir yeri olan Demokrat Parti’nin (DP) muhalefet anlayışını incelemektedir. Türkiye’nin muhalefet serüvenini Osmanlıda yaşanan isyan hareketlerine kadar götürmek mümkündür. Ancak yasal zeminlerde muhalefet, çok partili hayata geçişle, yani 1946 yılı ile birlikte başlamıştır. Peki DP, ne kadar muhalif olabilmiş, Türkiye’nin muhalefet geleneğine nasıl bir etkide bulunmuştur?
