Mukaddime is a peer-reviewed journal that started its publication life in May 2010 by Mardin Artuklu University Graduate Education Institute (formerly known as the Social Sciences Institute) and is published twice a year (May and November). The journal is published electronically. A maximum of 10 research articles and 3 book introductions/evaluations are included in one issue of Mukaddime.
Mukaddime; evaluates articles from the fields of Anthropology, Linguistics, Literature, Philosophy, Urban Studies, Political Science, Sociology and History.
The aim of the journal is to contribute to science by publishing high-quality publications of scientific importance. For this purpose, original research articles, compilations, case reports, book reviews/promotions and letters to the editor are published. Introduction; It is an independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access and online journal. Articles must describe original data that has not previously been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts deemed to comply with Mukaddime's submission rules and the scope of the journal are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their field for scientific evaluation. Discussing its suitability, Mukaddime Editorial Board members then consider the referees' comments on each submission. The final decision for all submitted articles belongs to the Editor.
In-House Publication Policy
In accordance with the editorial policy of our journal, submissions from in-house authors are limited to a maximum of 25% of the total number of published articles per issue. In cases of high submission volume, efforts will be made to ensure a balanced distribution across academic departments.
When there is a high volume of in-house submissions, priority will be given to authors who have not published an article in Mukaddime within the past two years. Submissions from authors who have had an article published in the journal during this period will be considered for future issues.
