Mukaddime sends the articles it publishes to electronic archives on an open access basis, without the need for any action by the author(s), and makes them available for full access. The author or funding organization may upload a copy of the author's accepted manuscript to archival sites. The author's license permits reuse with attribution to the source of the article (with full citation) for non-commercial use only. For commercial use, permission is required from the Authors.

The publisher of Mukaddime Journal (e-ISSN: 2459-0711) is pleased to announce its archive policy in accordance with its policy of supporting the dissemination of research results.
• Mukaddime allows authors to use the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
• Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be cited and a link must be set to the journal home page or DOI of the articles.
• Authors can download the output of the article as a PDF document. Authors may send copies of the article to colleagues without any embargo.
• Mukaddime allows all versions of articles (Submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be deposited in an institutional or other repository of the author's choice without embargo.
• Mukaddime uses the LOCKSS system to allow the creation of permanent archives. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS Program provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to ensure access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “ensuring the security of large numbers of copies.” The LOCKSS Program develops and supports libraries using open source end-to-end digital preservation software.

In accordance with its publishing policies, Mukaddime does not accept sponsorships and advertisements.
