Aim and Scope
• Mütefekkir is an international scientific, academic, and peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in June and December, in print and online by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Aksaray University. Mütefekkir aims to contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in its field by publishing works of scientific merit at the national and international levels.
• Mütefekkir publishes scientific studies conducted in the field of Islamic sciences in general (Social and Human Sciences/Religion) and in specific areas. Articles in related fields such as Middle Eastern Studies, Ottoman Studies, Religious Culture and Ethics Education may also be published.
• Our journal aims to contribute to science with high-quality publications of scientific importance.
• Articles should present original data that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication. Articles that are largely similar to a published study will not be considered for publication.
• The target audience of our journal consists of professionals, experts, researchers, doctoral students working in the fields covered by the journal, and undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in these fields.
• Academic works written in Turkish and English are accepted for our independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal.

NOTE: Our journal adheres to the International Principles of Ethical Publishing published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
