Author Guidelines

• Articles should be submitted to the editor using the Article Template.
• The author's name, title, institution, and contact information such as phone number and email address should not be included anywhere in the manuscript. This information will be added to the system by filling in the relevant sections in the publication agreement. Therefore, when submitting manuscripts to the system, they should be reviewed to ensure that no information about the author is included. This is mandatory for blind peer review.
•When submitting a paper, the article template must be used. All necessary instructions are provided in the article template. Papers not submitted according to the article template will not be considered for evaluation.
• Articles should include a 150-200 word Turkish abstract and its English translation; articles in foreign languages should include both Turkish and English abstracts. Five (5) keywords should be provided in both English and Turkish.
• The original title and bibliographic information of a translated article should be indicated as footnotes in the Turkish text.
• In terms of spelling and punctuation, the Turkish Language Association's Spelling Guide should be followed, except in special cases required by the article or subject. The editor reserves the right to make minor changes to the spelling of the articles.
• Names of persons and works, as well as established terms, should be written according to the article headings and spelling rules found in the Turkey Religious Foundation Islamic Encyclopaedia.
• Consistency should be maintained in the spelling of accented and transcribed words.
• A ‘bibliography’ should be provided at the end of the article.
• If the articles are derived from a thesis, project, or presented as a paper, this must be explicitly stated in the Publication Agreement.
• For works with multiple authors, authors must submit a statement of contribution and a conflict of interest declaration during the article submission process.
• If the work has received support from any institution, organisation, or fund during the article submission process, this support must be stated. Furthermore, if there are individuals, institutions, or organisations to be thanked, the relevant information must be clearly stated in the article file.
• If artificial intelligence-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, etc.) were used during the article production process, the stages in which they were utilised must be clearly stated. This information must be provided during the article submission process. All responsibility regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence lies with the authors.
• For articles requiring Ethics Committee approval, such approval must be obtained and this approval (committee name, date and number) must be stated on the first page of the article and in the methods section. For research requiring Ethics Committee approval, please review the Journal's Ethical Principles and Publication Policy.
• The scientific, legal and linguistic responsibility for published articles lies with the authors.

Citation System
• Mütefekkir uses the ‘ISNAD Citation System’ as its citation system.
As all details regarding the writing of articles are organised according to the “ISNAD Citation System”, works that do not comply with this citation system will not be accepted.
