The journal was published under the name of Niğde University Journal of Engineering Sciences (e-ISSN: 2147-012X) from 2012 to 2016. Since the name of the university was changed to Ömer Halisdemir University in 2016, the name of the journal was changed to Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of Engineering Sciences (e-ISSN: 2564-6605). In 2019, the name of the journal was changed to Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of Engineering Sciences (e-ISSN: 2564-6605) due to the change of the university name to Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. In 2019, the name of the journal was changed to Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of Engineering Sciences (e-ISSN: 2564-6605) due to the change of the university name to Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. The journal has been continuing its publication process as the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Journal of Engineering Sciences since 2019.

NOHU Journal of Engineering Sciences publishes original research article and review article written in Turkish and English within the scope of Engineering Sciences.

If the article sent to NOHU Journal of Engineering Sciences is found suitable for the scope and format of the journal during the pre-evaluation process, it is directed to the field editor and taken into the evaluation process with the double-blind reviewer application. In the article evaluation process, reviewers consist of experts in their fields from various universities and institutions. The article evaluated by the reviewers is accepted for publication if it is found suitable for publication. No fee is requested from the article sent to NOHU Journal of Engineering Sciences. The full texts of the articles published in the journal are also freely available for everyone to access and download.
