Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NOHU) Journal of Engineering Sciences publishes research and review articles in Turkish and in English.

The reviewer invitation is sent to the person who is expert in the field by the Editor or Editorial Board via the DergiPark system.

The person who has been invited to reviewer, submits his/her decision regarding the evaluation of the article as accept or reject within 7 (seven) calendar days. The reviewer, who does not report any decision at the end of this period, is deemed to have rejected the evaluation. The Field Editor send remind to this reviewer or makes a new reviewer assignment.

If the reviewer accepts the evaluation, the review must be completed within 15 (fifteen) calendar days.

The reviewer, who accepts the evaluation, performs the evaluation process using the “Article Evaluation Form”. This form is compulsory to be filled by the reviewer. If the reviewer deems necessary, he/she uploads the request for opinion/suggestion/correction to the system with the article file or additional file. This file is sent to the author/authors and requested changes to be made.

Personal information of the reviewers involved in the evaluation process is kept confidential.

If the reviewer wants to see the comment/suggestion/correction request again after the author/authors have corrected it, he/she accepts the reviewer invitation for the corrected article by the Field Editor and responds within 15 (fifteen) calendar days. The opinion of the reviewer who does not report comment/suggestion/correction within this period is considered positive.

Those who are reviewers for NOHU Journal of Engineering Sciences are deemed to have accepted the journal of Ethical Principles. You can access the journal's “Ethical Principles” from this link.

1) If you are not registered with DergiPark, you can register as a user at https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/register/.

2) If you are registered with DergiPark, login with your username and password at https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/login.

3) Select NOHU Journal of Engineering Sciences from the “My Journals” tab.

4) You can access the article you will evaluate by clicking the “Show” button on the “New Invitation” tab on the reviewer panel of the NOHU Journal of Engineering Sciences.

5) On the page that opens, you can see the article information (name, abstract and task completion date) to be evaluated.

6) If the article is related to your field of expertise and you want to evaluate it, you can accept the review by clicking the “ Accept Review” button on the right side of this page. You can download from the files tab the files related to the article.

7) If the article is not related to your field of expertise or you do not want to evaluate it, you can reject the reviewing by clicking the “ Decline Evaluation” button on the right side of this page.

8) If you accept the reviewer evaluation, after evaluating the article, fill in the “Evaluation Form” and click the “ Submit Review” button to upload your evaluation to the system. You can upload an evaluation file in addition to the evaluation form. You can upload this file to the system using the “Add New File” button.
