Abstract
In this research the prediction internet addiction obtained by peer pressure and perceived social support is examined. This study is executed in 2006- 2007 academic year on 479 high school students who are between ages 15- 17. The data were collected with "Internet Addiction Scale", "Peer Pressure Scale" and "Perceived Social Support Scale". Data are tested by regression analysis. The results of research shows the facts that internet addiction is predicted meaningfully in positive direction by one of variables "peer pressure" and in negative direction by the other variables "perceived family support" and "perceived teacher support". Multiple regression analysis, it is found that three variables altogether explain %33 of internet addiction. Also it is found in stepwise regression analysis that internet addiction is predicted meaningfully by their three variables. Keywords:

Bu ara?tyrmada, ergenlerde internet ba?ymlyly?yny, akran baskysy ve algylanan sosyal destek de?i?kenlerinin ne derece yordayyp yordamady?y incelenmi?tir. Bu çaly?ma, 2006-2007 ö?retim yylynda liseye devam eden 15-17 ya? arasy 479 ö?renci üzerinde yapylmy?tyr. Veri toplama aracy olarak, "Ynternet Ba?ymlylyk Ölçe?i", "Akran Baskysy Ölçe?i" ve "Algylanan Sosyal Destek Ölçe?i" kullanylmy?tyr. Veriler regrasyon analizi tekni?i ile test edilmi?tir. Sonuçlar, ele alynan de?i?kenlerden akran baskysynyn internet ba?ymlyly?yny pozitif yönde anlamly olarak yordady?yny, algylanan aile ve ö?retmen deste?inin negatif yönde anlamly olarak yordady?yny göstermektedir. Ba?ymsyz de?i?kenlerin birlikte ele alyndy?y çoklu regrasyon analizinde üç de?i?kenin birlikte internet ba?ymlyly?ynyn %33'ünü açyklady?y görülmü?tür.
