Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of primary school teachers about their level of mobbing and coping with mobbing in their schools, whether their perceptions about mobbing and coping with mobbing vary significantly according to some variables or not, and the effect of their points of coping with mobbing on their points of mobbing. The population of the study consists of 8487 teachers of 204 schools in four big districts of İzmir (Bornova, Buca, Karşıyaka, Konak). The sample of the study consists of 373 teachers in 25 schools. As a result of the study it was determined that teachers perceive mobbing at low level. They perceive the coping with mobbing at high level. According to the results of the study there is no influence of the points of coping with mobbing on those of mobbing.
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin okullarındaki psikolojik yıldırma ve psikolojik yıldırmayla baş etme düzeyine ilişkin algılarını, psikolojik yıldırma ve psikolojik yıldırmayla baş etmeye ilişkin algılarının bazı değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ve psikolojik yıldırmayla baş etme puanlarının psikolojik yıldırma puanları üzerindeki etkisini belirlemeye yöneliktir. Araştırmanın evrenini İzmir ilinin 4 büyük ilçesindeki (Bornova, Buca, Karşıyaka, Konak) 204 okulun 8487 öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemini evrendeki ilçelerden seçilen 25 okuldaki 373 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin psikolojik yıldırmayı düşük düzeyde algıladıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenler psikolojik yıldırmayla baş etmeyi yüksek düzeyde algılamaktadırlar. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre psikolojik yıldırmayla baş etme puanlarının, psikolojik yıldırma puanları üzerinde etkisi bulunmamaktadır.
