Somatik Deneyimleme: Afet ve Acil Durumlarla Çalışmada Yeni Bir Yaklaşım

Öz
Bu çalışmanın amacı travma ile çalışmada yeni bir yaklaşım olan Somatik Deneyimleme (SD) yaklaşımının gelişimi, yöntem ve teknikleri ve kullanım alanları hakkında bilgi vererek ülkemizde kullanımının önemini ve gerekliliğini vurgulamaktır. Travma, psikoterapistlerin sıklıkla karşısına çıkan bir konu olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu bağlamda SD, travmaya neden olabilecek afet ve acil durumlar sonrasında sinir sistemi ile çalışarak kişinin iyi oluşunu beden ve sinir sistemi üzerinden destekleyen bir yaklaşımdır. Türkiye jeopolitik konumu gereği göç, afet, kriz ve acil durumların sıkça yaşandığı bir ülkedir. SD yaklaşımı afet ve acil durumlar sonrasında kısa süreli müdahalelerde etkililiğini birçok çalışma ile göstermiştir. Bu nedenle Türkiye’de afet ve acil durumlar sonrasında bireylerle çalışan uzmanlar için kapsamlı bir kaynak ve yaklaşım olma özelliği de taşımaktadır. Konu, içerik analizi yöntemiyle yorumsamacı bir yaklaşımla ele alınmıştır.

Öz
The aim of this study is to focus on the development, methods and techniques, and application areas of the Somatic Experiencing (SE) approach, which is a relatively new and short-term approach in working with trauma and emergency situations. In this context, SE is an approach that works with the nervous system after traumatic events such as disasters and emergencies and supports the well-being of the person through this system. Turkey is a country where migration, disasters, crises, and emergencies occur frequently because of its geographical location. SE, on the other hand, has shown its effectiveness in working with trauma with short-term interventions after disasters and emergencies with many studies. The subject has been handled with a hermeneutic approach with a content analysis method.
