A Review of Role of the Construction Manager in the BIM System During the Pre-design, Design, and Procurement Phases

Abstract

Nowadays, construction production requires that all disciplines related to production work on the same platform. In this context, especially in developed countries, the application of construction management (CM) services and Building information modeling (BIM) system is very important. However, there are insufficient studies on the axis of CM-BIM relationship in our country. Therefore, in this study, the duties and responsibilities of CM services under the BIM system, are examined within the scope of the literature, until the construction phase. As a result of this study; in project delivery systems including CM services, in both theoretical and practical terms, it is hoped that the consultancy service will contribute to the integration of BIM in construction projects and other relevant academic studies.

Danışmanın, Tasarım Öncesi, Tasarım ve Yapım Öncesi Aşamalarında BIM Sistemindeki Rolünün Literatür Kapsamında İncelenmesi

Abstract

Günümüz yapı üretimi, üretimde yer alan bütün disiplinlerin aynı platform üzerinde çalışmasını gerektirmektedir. Bu kapsamda, özellikle gelişmiş ülkelerde, danışmanlık hizmetlerinin ve BIM sisteminin kullanımı büyük önem arz etmektedir. Ancak, ülkemizde danışmanlık – BIM ilişkisi ekseninde yetersiz çalışma bulunmaktadır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada, projelerin yaşam döngüsündeki, yapım aşamasına kadar olan bölümünde, danışmanlık hizmetlerinin BIM sistemi kapsamındaki görev ve sorumlulukları literatür kapsamında irdelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmanın; danışmanlık hizmetlerinin dahil olduğu proje teslim sistemlerinde, teorik olarak ve yapı üretim uygulamalarında, danışmanlık hizmetinin, inşaat projelerinde BIM entegrasyonuna ve konuyla ilgili diğer akademik çalışmalara katkısı olacağı umulmaktadır.
