The effects of organic liquid fertilizer and different doses of chicken manure treatments in strawberry cultivation

Abstract

This research was carried out to reveal the effects of different doses of pelleted chicken manure and organic liquid fertilizer treatments on the vegetative development, yield, fruit quality, and leaf nutrient element contents of the Monterey variety strawberry plants. Plant growth parameters such as root length, root thickness, and stem diameter, along with yield per plant (g plant−1), average fruit weight (g), fruit pH, TSS, acidity, TSS/acidity ratio, and macro- and micronutrient contents were examined. The study found that organic fertilizer treatments resulted in higher plant growth, yield, fruit quality, and leaf nutrient content compared to the control. According to the research results, the treatment of "300 kg da−1 chicken manure + organic liquid fertilizer" provided the highest total yield (329.98 g plant−1), fruit weight (17.79 g) and TSS with the longest root, and the thickest stem. The best results in terms of leaf nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc contents were also acquired with the same treatment. The 300 kg per decare dose of chicken manure was more effective than the 150 kg per decare dose in improving the yield and fruit quality of strawberry plants.

Çilek yetiştiriciliğinde organik sıvı gübre ve farklı dozlarda tavuk gübresi uygulamalarının etkileri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, farklı dozda pelet tavuk gübresi ve organik sıvı gübre uygulamalarının Monterey çeşit çilek bitkisinin vejetatif gelişimi, verim, meyve kalitesi ve yaprak besin element içerikleri üzerine olan etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Kök uzunluğu, kök kalınlığı, gövde çapı gibi bitki büyüme parametreleri, bitki başına verim (g bitki−1), ortalama meyve ağırlığı (g), meyvede pH, SÇKM, Asit, SÇKM/Asit, makro ve mikro besin element içerikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, organik gübre uygulaması yapılan çilek bitkilerinin gelişimi, verim, meyve kalitesi ve yapraklardaki besin elementi içeriği kontrole göre daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, "300 kg da−1 tavuk gübresi + organik sıvı gübre" uygulaması en yüksek toplam verim (329.98 g bitki−1), meyve ağırlığı (17.79 g) ve SÇKM ile en uzun kök ve en kalın gövdeyi sağlamıştır. Yapraktaki azot, fosfor, potasyum, kalsiyum, magnezyum, demir ve çinko içerikleri bakımından en iyi sonuçlar yine aynı uygulamada elde edilmiştir. Tavuk gübresinin dekara 300 kg dozu, dekara 150 kg dozuna göre çilek bitkisinin verim ve meyve kalitesini iyileştirmede daha etkili olmuştur.
