Anatolian Journal of Agricultural Sciences (ANAJAS) is an international refereed journal, mainly in the fields of Horticulture, Plant Protection, Agricultural Structures, and Irrigation, Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering, Field Crops, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Soil and Plant Nutrition and Animal Science publish original articles generated from studies carried out in all agricultural areas. The language of publication is Turkish and English. Publishing articles in English are given priority.
The Anatolian Journal of Agricultural Sciences (ANAJAS) is an internationally refereed journal that publishes original articles produced from studies conducted in all agricultural fields, especially in the fields of Horticulture, Plant Protection, Agricultural Structures and Irrigation, Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering, Field Crops, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Soil and Plant Nutrition and Zootechnics. The languages of publication are Turkish and English. Priority is given to the publication of articles in English.
The Anadolu Journal of Agricultural Sciences is published three times a year in February, June and October. The journal publishes original research articles in the field of agricultural sciences.
The publication language of the journal is Turkish or English. The article to be submitted to the journal must be original and not published elsewhere (except for articles presented at scientific meetings and only abstracts published) or not in the evaluation process.
If original research articles are produced from master's and doctoral theses, the authors must indicate this in 7-point font size and as a footnote at the bottom of the first page of the article.
All responsibilities regarding the scientific content of the articles to be published in the journal belong to the author(s). No publication rights are paid to the author(s). The Copyright Transfer Agreement Form must be signed by all authors and uploaded to the journal's online application system by the responsible author as a separate additional file together with the article.
During the uploading of the article to the system, the names of all authors in the order of the article, the addresses of the institutions they work for must be filled in both Turkish and English separately and completely by selecting the form language (Turkish/English) at the top of the page. In addition, the Turkish abstract, English abstract and references of the article must be entered in the metadata section.
When submitting research results requiring an Ethics Committee report as an article, a copy of the Ethics Committee Report must be attached. No changes can be made to the text, authors and order of authors after it is accepted for publication.
The work sent for publication is subject to preliminary review by the Journal Editorial Board in accordance with the publication principles. The Journal Editorial Board has the right to decide to return articles that it does not find suitable for publication in the journal to the author(s) without sending them to the referees. In addition, articles that do not comply with the spelling rules or have insufficient narrative language are returned to the author(s) for correction. It is recommended that the author(s) have the work reviewed by a linguist in terms of language before submitting an article in English. Articles deemed suitable for peer review are sent to at least two or more referees for review.
Articles requiring revision are directed to the author(s) electronically via the online journal system. Author(s) must take into consideration the comments of the referees and explain the comments and criticisms one by one. They must also prepare a detailed explanation if they disagree with the criticisms of the referees. The corrections of the articles that have passed the peer review must be uploaded to the system together with the list of corrections within 30 days at the latest and the article revision process must be completed. Otherwise, the current article is considered a newly submitted article. Before reaching the final decision, the editor reviews the revisions and corrections made by the author(s) and makes the final decision on whether the article will be published.
Writing rules
A title page must be created for the article and this cover page must be uploaded to the system as a supplementary file during the application, separate from the main text of the article. All information on the cover page (including the addresses of the institutions where the authors work) must be written in both Turkish and English. The cover page, which will include the names of all authors, must include the article title written in lower case letters, the institutions where the authors work and their addresses. The author name(s) must be written clearly and no academic title must be stated. In addition, the author responsible for correspondence must be specified in the article and the telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address of this author must be provided. Authors must fill out the copyright agreement during article submission.
Article preparation
The main text of the article uploaded to the system for peer review must begin with the article title and must not include the names and addresses of the author(s).
Articles must be written on an A4 page, in 10-point Times New Roman font and double-spaced. There should be a 2.5 cm margin on the page margins. Each page and lines of the article should be numbered.
The article should consist of Turkish Title, Turkish Abstract, Keywords, English Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Material and Method, Findings and Discussion, Results, Acknowledgements (if any), Abbreviations and/or Symbols (if any), References, Figures (photographs, drawings, diagrams, graphics, maps, etc.) and Tables. Figures and Tables should be given after the literature list. Section names should be written in bold.
The article should not exceed 20 pages including the “References” section. Authors can benefit from existing articles published on the journal’s web page while preparing the article. Section titles should be written in bold and the first letter of each word should be capitalized and numbered. Subheadings should also be numbered and only the first letter should be capitalized and written in italics. Paragraph indents in the text should be 0.5 cm.
Title
The article title should be short and descriptive, centered on the page and should not exceed three lines. Abbreviations should never be used in the article title and subheadings. The title should be written in 14-point font size and in lower case letters except for proper nouns. The English title should exactly match the Turkish title and should be written in 11-point font size. Abbreviations and scientific taxonomic names should not be used in the title.
The main headings in the text (Introduction, Material and Method, Findings and Discussion, Results, etc.) should be written with the first letter of the words capitalized, in bold and in 10-point font size. Subheadings should be written with only the first letter of the title capitalized, in 10-point font, italicized and without bold.
Abstract and keywords
The Turkish abstract and English abstract should be less than 250 words. The abstract should include the purpose, method, results and recommendations of the study. References to previous studies should be avoided in the abstract. After the Turkish and English abstracts, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 keywords that best describe the study, not used in the title, with the first letter capitalized and the others in lower case, should be given in alphabetical order.
1. Introduction
In this section; the subject of the study, its justification, previous studies directly related to the subject and the purpose of the study are given.
2. Materials and Methods
The materials and methods used should be given under this title. If a subtitle is given, it should be numbered with the section number (for example 2.1.) and written in italics. Known, new or modified methods should be given clearly in a way that will allow those who will work on the same subject to repeat the research. If a previously known method was used, reference should be made to the relevant literature.
3. Findings and/or Discussion
The findings obtained from the study should be given in this section, and if necessary, they should be explained by supporting them with tables, figures and graphs. The findings obtained should be given either as tables or graphs in order to avoid repetition. Statistically significant factors should be grouped with a comparison method appropriate to the applied statistical analysis method. In cases where the statistical analysis method is not selected correctly and/or the analysis is not performed properly, the editorial board may not evaluate the article. The findings should be discussed using other research results on similar topics.
4. Conclusion
The results obtained should be given briefly and clearly, together with their contribution to science and practice. The statements given in the Introduction, Findings and Discussion sections should not be repeated in this section.
Acknowledgements
If necessary, the contributions made to the study by other researcher(s) and institution(s) should be stated as briefly as possible in this section.
References
All sources cited in the text should be included in the literature list.

Figures and Tables
When submitting an article, the English versions of the table and figure names must be added under the Turkish ones.
Figures, graphs, photographs and similar items must be labeled as "Figure", and numerical values must be labeled as It should be given as "Table". All figures and tables should be placed at the end of the article. The length, width and height of figures and tables should not exceed 16x20 cm in single column layout and 8 cm in double column layout. The size of figures and tables should be at a resolution that can be printed.Photographs supporting the research results should be in ”jpg” format with a resolution of 300-600 dpi.
Vertical lines should not be used in tables and grids should be avoided. Each table and figure should be numbered and cited in the text (Table 1 and Figure 1). Table and figure titles should be short and descriptive. should be written in lower case letters. Figure and table titles and text inside figures and tables should be in 10 point font, text under tables should be in 9 point Times New Roman font. Table titles should be written above the table, and figure titles should be written below the figure. No frames should be placed around figures. Tables and If abbreviations are used in figures, an explanation of these abbreviations should be given immediately below. A period should not be placed at the end of figure and table titles and explanations under the table. A period should be used as a decimal separator in numerical values given in the text and tables, and a comma should not be used.
Abbreviations and/or Symbols
The use of non-standard or non-common abbreviations should be avoided in the article as much as possible. If abbreviations are required, they should be explained in the text where they are first used. Internationally valid and established abbreviations should be preferred. Units International System of Units (SI) of Units) should be given.
Units
SI (The International System of Units) units of measurement should be used in all articles. When writing numerical values, a period should be used as a decimal separator, and a comma should not be used (for example, 1.25 instead of 1.25). The “/” sign should not be used in units, and A space must be given between the units (such as m s-1 instead of m/s, J s-1 instead of J/s, kg m/s-2 instead of kg m/s2). There should be a space between the number and the symbol (such as 4 kg N ha-1, 3 kg m-1 s-2, 20 N m, 1000 s-1, 100 kPa, 22 °C and 29%). Exceptions to this rule are plane angles. The degree, minute and second symbols (°, ′ and ″) are used for the number. These should be placed immediately after the number (such as 10°, 45', 60"). The abbreviation for liter should be written as "L", not "l". If they are not at the end of a sentence, they should be placed at the end of the symbols. do not use a dot (kg instead of kg).

Equalities should be numbered and the equation number should be next to the equation
PUBLICATION ETHICS AND PUBLICATION MALPRACTICE STATEMENT
Anatolian Journal of Agriculture Sciences (ANAJAS) is an electronic international journal committed to providing a platform where the highest standards of publication ethics are the major aspect of the editorial and peer-review process.
The Editorial Process for a manuscript to the Black Sea Journal of Agriculture consists of a review, blind and peer-reviewed, followed by a section of the editor's decision to accept or decline the submission. If accepted in the review stage of the Editorial Process, the submission goes through the editing stage which consists of copyediting, layout, and proofreading. The manuscript is then scheduled for publication in an issue of the Black Sea Journal of Agriculture.
Publication ethics and publication malpractice statement of the Black Sea Journal of Agriculture are mainly based on the guidelines and recommendations published by recommendations for the conduct, reporting, editing of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and Council of Science Editors (CSE) policy statements.
The relevant duties and expectations of all parties involved in the publishing process including editors, reviewers, authors, and others are required to adhere to the publication ethics guidelines and malpractice statements defined below. All articles based on animal studies must submit an Ethics committee approval document.
