The primary mission of OPUS Journal of Society Research (JSR) is to contribute to the global scientific community by publishing high-quality, impactful research. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, we provide a multidisciplinary platform that bridges the gap between theory, practice, and social analysis. By fostering a holistic perspective, OPUS JSR encourages researchers to move beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries, establishing meaningful connections between diverse methods and concepts to deepen the understanding of social phenomena.
A fundamental prerequisite for all primary research is the inclusion of original empirical data. OPUS JSR exclusively considers manuscripts presenting original data that have neither been previously published nor are under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts lacking a substantial data component do not fall within our editorial remit; all submissions must feature a rigorous analysis of verifiable evidence to qualify for peer review. This ensures that the journal provides a framework for evidence-based academic inquiry rather than speculative discourse.
OPUS JSR serves a broad academic spectrum, including professionals, researchers, and students within the social sciences. To facilitate the continuous dissemination of knowledge, we accept submissions on a rolling basis with no fixed deadlines. We strictly adhere to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), ensuring that all published work meets the highest benchmarks of integrity and transparency.
