Abstract: Developmental delay is defined as delay in language and talking, motor, social and cognitive areas. Early diagnosis of those children is important for detailed search and treatment. In the present study developmental screening habits and knowledge about Denver II developmental screening test of family medicine physicians were searched via online SurveyMonkey program. The study was conducted by 201 medical doctors and 21.4% of doctors were resident. The results of research showed that 76.2% of doctors use only physical examination to screen developmental delay and only three of them have had certificate to perform Denver developmental screening test. Nation-wide education programs might increase the ratio of performing of developmental screening tests and early treatment modalities.
