Article Preparation
Main Text
Articles should be prepared in 12-point Times New Roman font, with 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Page numbers should be placed at the bottom centre of each page, starting from the first page of the article. There should be no indentation at the beginning of paragraphs. There should be a blank line before and after each paragraph.
The main text should consist of the following sections: introduction, objectives, materials and methods, findings, discussion, conclusions and recommendations, references, acknowledgements (if any), and tables, figures/graphs/images. The article text must be prepared using a word processing package (saved as .doc or .docx).
Introduction: This section presents the research problem, summarises previous studies related to this problem, and indicates the current importance of the research and its purpose.
Materials and Methods: This section should include the type and design of the research, its location and time, the population and sample, data collection tools, the data collection process, ethical approval, and the statistical analysis of the data. This section should provide information on the methods used in the research, how the data was collected, and the characteristics of the sample participants.
Findings: This section should present the results of the analysis of the collected data. The findings of the research or statistical data that need to be emphasised should be presented in tables or graphs, and this information should not be repeated in the text. Sources should not be cited in the findings.
Discussion: The interpretation of the findings is done in the discussion section. The discussion section should begin with a sentence related to the main findings of the study. This sentence should include information on how the hypotheses were confirmed or not confirmed. Similarities or contrasts between the findings of the study and those in the literature should be noted; at the end of the discussion, the limitations, strengths, and contributions of the study to the literature should be presented together. Based on the findings of the study, the types of theoretical and practical conclusions that can be drawn and how similar studies can be improved should be discussed, and recommendations for future studies should be presented.
Conclusions and Recommendations: The main findings of the study should be briefly stated in line with the purpose of the study. This section should not be a repetition of the findings. The conclusions reached based on the research findings should be stated, and their contribution to the literature, practice and/or society should be explained separately. Necessary recommendations should be made based on the findings obtained. Authors should avoid comments and recommendations related to general benefits that do not include the data they have obtained.
Acknowledgements: Authors may write a few sentences of acknowledgement to individuals who have contributed to the paper but do not qualify for authorship, if they deem it necessary.

If the same sources are referenced again in the text, the same method is used; abbreviations such as a.g.e. and a.g.m. should not be used. Example: (Timur, 2024)
If the name of the cited author appears in the text, the author’s surname and publication date are indicated in parentheses. Example: Reşat Kasaba views the Empire’s participation in the capitalist world economy in the mid-18th century as a result of this (Kasaba, 2025).
If the source cited has two authors, both authors’ surnames should be used. Example: (Postman and Powers, 2016)
If there are more than two authors, the abbreviation ‘et al.’ should be used after the first author’s surname. Example: (Keyman et al., 2015)

Formatting the Bibliography
The bibliography should only include sources referenced in the text and should be arranged alphabetically by author’s surname.
If an author has multiple works in the bibliography, they should be arranged in chronological order from oldest to newest. For works published in the same year, the letters a, b, c, etc. should be used, and these should also be used in the references within the text.

The Journal of Pan Health Sciences aims to publish original and scientifically contributing studies. All editorial and peer review processes for articles submitted to the journal are conducted through an online article tracking system. First, articles are evaluated by the secretariat for compliance with writing rules, deficiencies, and content integrity. In addition, the Turnitin programme is used to detect plagiarism, and the results are reported to the editor-in-chief. The editor-in-chief reviews the article in terms of methodology, content, and format and rejects studies that do not comply with the journal’s publication policies or have low scientific contribution without sending them to the peer review process.
For articles accepted for peer review, a field editor is assigned by the editor-in-chief. Field editors are determined based on criteria such as the quality of the work, not being affiliated with the same institution as one of the authors, and workload. After reviewing the article, the field editor informs the editor-in-chief of its suitability for publication. Articles that are found to be suitable are sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation, and this process is completed within a maximum of 21 days. Impartiality is a fundamental priority in the selection of reviewers; reviewers must not work at the same institution as the authors or have collaborated with them recently. If a conflict of interest is identified, the reviewer is replaced. Reviewers are expected to be experts in the relevant field and have a sufficient scientific publication history.
Following the review, referees propose decisions such as acceptance, minor revision, major revision, requires rewriting, or rejection. The field editor considers the referee reports and their own evaluation before submitting their final recommendation to the chief editor. The final decision is made by the chief editor, and an article may be rejected despite positive referee opinions if fundamental flaws are present. The Journal of Pan Health Sciences publishes only studies that provide original contributions to scientific knowledge and does not include methodological flaws or repetitive studies. The primary priority is that submitted articles provide original contributions to the scientific literature.
Submission
Only online submissions are accepted. During the submission process, a cover page clearly stating the names and addresses of all authors and an author information form must be submitted. Additionally, sections indicating that the manuscript has been approved by all authors, has not been previously published anywhere, and that publication rights will be transferred to the journal must be completed during the submission process.
