Girişimcilik, dinamik bir güç olup, ülkelerin toplumsal ve ekonomik gelişiminde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Kişilerin girişimci olmaları ya da olmamaları konusunda belirleyici etkiye sahip birçok unsur bulunmakta olup, bunlar arasında finansal kaynaklar, eğitim, rol modelleri, iş tecrübesi, inanç, aile, kültür ve kişilik özellikleri öne çıkan unsurlardır. Bu çalışma, Meslek Yüksekokulları bünyesinde yer alan işletme ve muhasebe eğitimi verilen İşletme Yönetimi, Muhasebe ve Vergi Uygulamaları, Pazarlama, Dış Ticaret, Lojistik, Büro Yönetimi ve Yönetici Asistanlığı, Bankacılık ve Sigortacılık programlarında eğitim gören öğrencilerin girişimcilik eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi ve demografik değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin tespit edilmesi amacını taşımaktadır. Bu amaçla Balıkesir Üniversitesine bağlı Meslek Yüksekokullarının ilgili programlarında eğitim gören öğrencilere literatürden yararlanılarak oluşturulan anket uygulanmıştır. Anket çalışmasından elde edilen veriler istatistiksel analizlere tabi tutulmuş ve sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır
Entrepreneurship is a dynamic power and plays a significant role for the social and economic development of countries. As well as there are many factors with decisive influence on whether individuals will be entrepreneur or not, financial resources, education, role models, work experience, faith, family, culture and personality are prominentones. This study was carried out with the aim of identifying vocational school students’ entrepreneurship tendencies studying at business and accounting at the programs of Business management, Accounting and Taxation, Marketing, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Office Management and Executive Assistance, Banking and Insurance Programs and determination of whether or not it differs on the basis of demographic variables. For this purpose, a questionnaire created by making use of the literature was made for the students studying at the related programs of vocational schools associated with Balikesir University. The data acquired from questionnaire study were analysed statistically and results were evaluated
