Abstract
Bütün eski toplumlar gibi, gerek Hititler, gerekse Romalılar kendilerine özgü bir hukuk meydana getirmişler ve bu hukuka ait kanunlar ile siyasal ve toplumsal düzeni sağlamaya çalışmışlardır. Bu çalışmada ana hatlarıyla; Hitit hukuku ve Hitit aile hukuku; Roma hukukunun tarihi dönemleri ile Eski Hukuk Dönemi Roma hukuku ve Eski Hukuk Dönemi Roma aile hukuku ele alınmıştır. Böylece, her iki hukukun, onların aile hukuklarının ve örgütlenmelerinin karşılaştırılmasını temin edebilecek nitelikte bir zemin oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır.
Abstract
Both Hittites and Romans, as in all ancient communities, established judiciary systems which are peculiar
to them and tried to secure political and social order through legislations based on this law. In this
article; law of Hittite & family law of Hittite; historical periods of Roman law with Roman law of Ancient
Law Period & Roman family law of Ancient Law Period have been discussed briefly. It is, in that way, tried
to create a basis of a nature to be able to ensure comparison of the mentioned two judiciary systems,
family laws and organizations.
