INSTRUCTIONS TO REVIEWERS

- Academics who wish to contribute as referees to the Journal of Roma Language and Culture Research Institute must register with the DergiPark system.

- Referees should specify their expertise and interests and include current contact information.

- Those who are invited to serve as referees must accept the article evaluation process if it is in line with their work, expertise, and interests.

- Referees are given 20 days to complete the article evaluation process once the article is sent to them. During this time, a reminder message is sent. If the deadline is missed, a new referee will be appointed.

- After completing the article evaluation process, the referee must submit their report through the DergiPark system.

- If revisions are needed for the evaluated work, the author must make the revisions and then send the work back to the referee for re-evaluation (taking the referee’s request for a review into account).

- The referee must provide a final decision regarding the revised article.

- Our journal applies double-blind refereeing, so no identifying information or contact information is shared between the authors and referees.

- The work is sent to at least two referees. If one of the referees provides a rejection report, the editorial board may reject the article in accordance with their decision.

- If a correction is requested by the referee, the author is notified and asked to revise the work and resubmit it within 15 days through the DergiPark system. If no revisions are made, the article will be rejected.

- Information about the article evaluation process is provided to the author by the journal management through the DergiPark system.

- Once the article is accepted, the latest iThenticate similarity detection program report is obtained and the article is prepared for publication.

- All opinions and scientific responsibilities contained in articles sent for evaluation, as well as the legal responsibility for the articles, belong to the author/authors. The Trakya University Journal of Roma Language and Culture Research Institute is not responsible for them.
