- The manuscript is sent to at least two referees. In case of one acceptance and one rejection, a third referee may be sent for evaluation. Even if the study is accepted by both referees, it may not be published by the decision of the Editorial Board. The final decision rests with the Editorial Board.
- Upon acceptance by the Editorial Board, the author(s) will receive the manuscript for final minor revisions, and must provide explicit approval that the manuscript can be published in its current form. The author(s) who do not provide such approval will have their work published in its final form, and all responsibilities will rest with the author(s). After the final approval is received, no further changes may be made to the article.
