Öğretmenlik Meslek Eğitiminde Müzik Kullanımı: Kişisel Bir Tecrübe

Abstract

Tarih boyunca insanlığın, temel ihtiyaçlarını karşılayacak yapıların yanında, eğlence ve eğitim amaçlı sanat eserleri de ürettiği görülmektedir. Başlıca sanat eserlerinden birisi olan müziğin eğitim amaçlı kullanılmasının oldukça yaygın bir durum olduğu söylenebilir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlik gibi doğrudan insanın gelişimine yönelik bir mesleğin icracısı olacak öğretmen adaylarının, öğretmenlik meslek eğitimi derslerinde müzikal unsurların kullanımının imkanını ve hasıl ettiği faydaları ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla, öğretmen adaylarına yönelik yürütülen Pedagojik Formasyon Sertifika Programı kapsamında yazar tarafından birkaç defa verilen Rehberlik dersine ait konuların işlenişinde yaşanan bireysel kişisel tecrübenin detayları ortaya konmuştur. Bu kapsamda ilgili dersin ilk bölümünü oluşturan; Rehberliğin Tanımı, Rehberliğin Amacı, Rehberlik ve Öğretim, Rehberliğin Toplumsal Temelleri, Rehberliğin Psikolojik Temelleri gibi konuların içeriğini pekiştiren, anlamını güçlendiren, aynı zamanda öğrencilerin repertuarına çok yabancı olmayan şarkı, türkü, ezgi, nefes ve deyiş niteliğindeki müzik parçalarına örnekler verilmiştir. Yaşanan kişisel deneyim sonucunda, öğretmenlik mesleği eğitimi konularının içeriğini çağrıştıran ve pekiştiren müzik parçalarının rahatlıkla bulunabileceği, dersin öğretim elemanı tarafından sınıf ortamında canlı olarak icra edilen müzik eşliğinde anlatılan konulara öğrencilerin yöneliminin arttığı -somut veriler olmasa da- kişisel olarak gözlenmiştir.

Using Music in Teaching Professional Education: A Personal Experience

Abstract

Throughout history, it is seen that humanity has produced works of art for entertainment and educational purposes as well as works that will meet their basic needs. It can be said that it is quite common to use music, which is one of the main works of art, for educational purposes. The purpose of this study is to reveal the possibility and the benefits of using musical elements in teacher vocational education lessons for teacher candidates who will be directly executing a profession for human development, such as teaching. For this purpose, the details of the individual practical experience experienced in the teaching of the subjects of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance course given by the author several times within the scope of the Pedagogical Formation Certificate Program conducted for prospective teachers were presented. In this context, the first part of the related course; examples of music pieces that reinforce the content of subjects such as the Definition of Guidance, Purpose of Guidance, Guidance and Instruction, Social Foundations of Guidance, Psychological Foundations of Guidance and at the same time are not unfamiliar with the students' repertoire. As a result of the practical experience, it was observed that music pieces that evoke and reinforce the content of the teaching professional education can be easily found, and the students' commitment to the subjects taught with the music performed live by the instructor in the classroom environment increased.
