PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF HIGH SCHOOLS IN GAZIANTEP USING DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS

Abstract

Effectiveness analysis, institutions, and resources for the purposes of determining how effective and efficient use of a concept. In recent years, one of the analysis methods used to evaluate the system performance of Data Envelopment Analysis. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), based on the principles of linear programming and is responsible for converting the input to the output relative to the business or economic institutions which are designed to measure the efficiency of a technique. In this study, in Gaziantep targeted to investigate the effects of high schools under the Ministry of National Education and evaluating the activities of the data calculated for these purpose high schools serving the area. From the data obtained by making use of high schools do not work as effectively as a more efficient operation and to prevent the waste of resources to increase their output and the input to reduce the amount has been determined
