BLOCKCHAIN TEKNOLOJİSİNİN ÇEVRESEL ETKİLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Blockchain teknolojisi, dağıtılmış bir ağda dijital kayıtların oluşturulmasını veya aktarılmasını doğrulamak için kriptografik algoritmalar kullanan dağıtılmış bir dijital defter üzerine uygulanan bir teknolojidir. Teknolojinin kullanımı, 2018’den itibaren muazzam bir ivme kazanmıştır. Kendi başına bir değeri olan bir varlık olarak alım satımı yapılabildiği gibi bir ödeme aracı olarak kullanılması veya doğrulamanın yer aldığı her süreçte kullanılabilirliği açısından geleceğin etkin teknolojisi olarak görünmektedir. Bununla birlikte artan Blockchain teknolojisi kullanımı karşısında doğal kaynakların büyük ölçülerde zorlanmaması ve ekolojik dengenin devamı da sürdürülebilirliğin gereksinimlerinden biridir. Blockchain teknolojisi kullanımı ile artan karbon salınımı ve dolayısıyla çevre sorunlarının ortaya çıktığı da öne sürülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, bu teknolojinin çevresel etkileri ele alınmış olup, çevreye ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya yararlı olacak şekilde nasıl değiştirilebileceği ve bu amaçla ek önlemlerle Blockchain teknolojisinin nasıl kullanılacağı yönünde saptamalar yapılmıştır.

EVALUATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

Blockchain technology is a technology implemented on a distributed digital ledger that uses cryptographic algorithms to verify the creation or transfer of digital records in a distributed network. The use of technology has gained tremendous momentum since 2018. It is seen as the effective technology of the future in terms of being used as a payment tool or as an asset that has a value in its own right, or its usability in every process where verification takes place. However, it is one of the requirements of sustainability that natural resources are not forced to a great extent in the face of the increasing use of Blockchain technology and the continuation of the ecological balance. It is also claimed that increased carbon emissions and thus environmental problems arise with the use of Blockchain technology. In this study, the environmental impacts of this technology, how it can be changed to benefit the environment and sustainable development and how to use Blockchain technology with additional measures for this purpose are discussed.

ОЦЕНКА ВОЗДЕЙСТВИЯ ТЕХНОЛОГИИ БЛОКЧЕЙН НА ОКРУЖАЮЩУЮ СРЕДУ

Abstract

Технология блокчейн – это технология, применяемая в распределенном цифровом реестре, которая использует криптографические алгоритмы для проверки создания или передачи цифровых записей в распределенной сети. С 2018 г. использование технологий набирает обороты. Возможно, это эффективная технология будущего с точки зрения использования в качестве платежного инструмента или удобства использования в каждом процессе проверки, а также для торговли как актива, имеющего отдельную ценность. Кроме того, одним из требований устойчивости является то, чтобы природные ресурсы не подвергались серьезной угрозе перед лицом все более широкого использования технологии блокчейн и сохранения экологического баланса. Также утверждается, что при использовании технологии блокчейн возникают увеличивающиеся выбросы углерода и, следовательно, экологические проблемы. В этом исследовании обсуждается воздействие этой технологии на окружающую среду и делаются выводы о том, как ее можно изменить, чтобы она приносила пользу окружающей среде и устойчивому развитию, и как использовать технологию блокчейн с дополнительными мерами для этой цели.
