The Effects of Organisatıonal Learning on Employees' Self-Efficacy and Innovation Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of organisational learning on employees' self-efficacy and innovation performance. In this context, the research question was determined as; does organisational learning affect employees' self-efficacy and innovation performance? In this context, in this study, in order to support the university-industry cooperation and to contribute to those concerned, books, articles, theses and internet resources in the field related to the subject of the study were scanned with the semi-systematic deductive method, and comparisons were made by taking into account the similarity of content in terms of criterion suitability in the study and making comparisons by taking advantage of the results of previous researches. Within the scope of the deductive method, the research was started with a semi-systematic planning and the literature data obtained objectively and consistently were compared and analysed. For this method, research questions were determined, comparisons were made by utilising the findings of previous studies and conceptual explanations of qualitative studies and the report of the study was completed in four months.
As a result of the study, it has been observed that in enterprises that make organisational learning practices continuous, employees' self-efficacy improves and their contribution to innovation activities increases. In addition, it has been concluded that employees with an increased desire for organisational learning are highly motivated, cooperation between employees develops, they voluntarily participate in decisions related to their expertise and employees come together around common goals. On the other hand, it has been observed that taking into account psychological motivation factors as well as material motivation factors, paying attention to the demands of employees, creating solutions in a short time, meeting their requests and needs increase the self-efficacy of employees.

ÖRGÜTSEL ÖĞRENMENİN, ÇALIŞANLARIN ÖZ YETERLİLİK VE İNOVASYON PERFORMANSINA ETKİLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, örgütsel öğrenmenin, çalışanların öz yeterlilik ve inovasyon performansına olan etkilerini incelemektir. Bu bağlamda araştırma sorusu; örgütsel öğrenme, çalışanların öz yeterliliklerini ve inovasyon performansını etkiler mi? şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda bu çalışmada üniversite-sanayi iş birliğine destek olunması ve ilgililere katkı sağlanabilmesi amacıyla, yarı-sistematik tüm dengelim yöntemi ile çalışma konusuyla ile ilgili alandaki kitaplar, makaleler, tezler ve internet kaynakları taranmış, çalışmada kriter uygunluğu açısından içerik benzerliği dikkate alınarak ilgili daha önce yapılmış araştırma sonuçlarından yararlanarak karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Tümden gelim yöntemi kapsamında, araştırmaya yarı-sistematik bir planlamayla başlanmış olup, objektif ve tutarlı bir şekilde elde edilen literatür verileri karşılaştırılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bu yöntem için çalışmada araştırma soruları belirlenmiş, daha önce yapılan araştırmaların bulguları ve niteliksel çalışmaların kavramsal açıklamalarından yararlanılarak kıyaslamalar yapılmış ve çalışmanın raporu dört ay sürecinde tamamlanmıştır.
Çalışma sonucunda örgütsel öğrenme uygulamalarını sürekli hale getiren işletmelerde çalışanların öz yeterliliklerinin geliştiği ve inovasyon faaliyetlerine katkılarının arttığı gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca örgütsel öğrenme isteği artan çalışanların, motivasyonlarının yüksek olduğu, çalışanları arası işbirliğinin geliştiği, uzmanlıkları ile ilgili kararlara gönüllü katıldıkları ve çalışanların ortak amaçları etrafında bir araya geldikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Diğer taraftan maddi motivasyon faktörleri kadar psikolojik motivasyon faktörlerinin de dikkate alınması, çalışanların taleplerinin önemsenmesi, çözümlerin kısa zamanda oluşturulması, istek ve ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması; çalışanlarının öz yeterliliklerini artırdığı gözlemlenmiştir.
