BİR DURUMLUK AKIŞ MODELİ: STRES KONTROLÜ, GENEL ÖZYETERLİK, DURUMLUK KAYGI, YAŞAM DOYUMU VE AKIŞ İLİŞKİLERİ

Year 2008, Issue: 16, 122 - 144, 09.05.2013

Abstract

A STATE FLOW MODEL: THE RELATIONSHIPS AMONG STRES CONTROL, GENERAL SELF-EFFICACY, STATE ANXIETY, LIFE SATISFACTION AND STATE FLOW

Year 2008, Issue: 16, 122 - 144, 09.05.2013

Abstract

The overall goal of the study was to establish a flow model in which general self efficacy, state anxiety, and stress control as exogenous variables, life satisfaction as mediator variable and flow experience as endogenous variable. In order to accomplish this goal, stress control appraisal, general self-efficacy, state anxiety, life satisfaction, and state flow scales were administered to 671 students (198 male and 473 female) who were attending various programs at Gazi University Faculty of Education in 2005-2006 Educational Year. The data were analyzed via Path Analysis in Structural Equating Modeling. The analysis revealed that goodness of fit test coefficients of the hypothesized model had a perfect match with the saturated model X2indep(2, N=671) .00 (p< .001) with an RMSEA value of .00 (RMSEA ≤0.06). The conclusion depending on findings were presented under the related topics. In this article, a brief presentation of Flow Theory was also intended in order to make readers more familiar with.
