Görsel Sanatlar ve Tedavi (Terapi)

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, görsel sanatlar ve tedavi kavramlarının tanımlamasının yapılması,tarihsel gelişim süreci içerisinde görsel sanatlar ve sağlık alanlarının birbiri ile olan bağı,toplumsal yapı içerisinde görsel sanatlar ve sağlık alanlarının kaynaşması, görselsanatların tedavi boyutunda kullanılması, görsel sanatların hastalar ve engellilere yöneliktedavi boyutunda kullanılması konuları ele alınarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada,görsel sanatların tedavi boyutunda kullanılmasına yönelik çalışmalar yapmışaraştırmacıların görüşleri ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda; araştırmacıların,görsel sanatlar ve sağlık alanı arasındaki bağlantının ne olduğu, görsel sanatlar alanınıntedavi amaçlı nasıl kullanılabildiği ve görsel sanatların hastalar ve engelliler üzerindenasıl bir etkisi olduğuna yönelik görüşleri değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada; toplumyapılanmaları içerisinde, görsel sanatlar ile sağlık alanı arasında, insanlık tarihininbaşlangıcından beri önemli bir bağın bulunduğu ve görsel sanatların tedavi boyutundakullanılmasına yönelik mevcut geçmişin bilindiğinden daha eski olduğu; görselsanatların hastalar ve engellilere yönelik tedavi amaçlı kullanıldığı ve bu çalışmalarınhastalar ve engelliler üzerinde olumlu anlamda etki ettiği; “Görsel Sanatlar Tedavi”olarak adlandırılan özel bir alanın, çağımız sağlık hizmetleri alanında alternatif tedaviyöntemleri arasında yer aldığı ve kullanıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır
