KIRMIZI, TAVUK VE BEYAZ ET TALEBİNİN TAM TALEP SİSTEMİ YAKLAŞIMIYLA ANALİZİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Isparta ili merkez ilçede ikamet eden hanehalklarının kırmızı et, balık ve tavuk et taleplerinin doğrusal formda yaklaşık ideal talep sistemi (LA/AIDS) ile incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, görüşülen hanehalkı aylık ortalama gelirin 836.64 YTL/ay ve gıda harcamalarının toplam harcamalar içindeki payının ise %33.55 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kişi başına aylık ortalama kırmızı et, balık ve tavuğun tüketim miktarlarının ise sırasıyla 0.597, 1.03 ve 1.142 kg/ay olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Talep sistemi tahmin sonuçlarına göre, kırmızı et ve tavuğun harcama esneklikleri 0.83, balığın ise 1.50 olarak tahmin edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, tahmin edilen fiyat talep esneklik katsayılarına göre ise balık (-0.51), kırmızı et (-0.20) ve tavuk etinin (-0.12) az esnek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

An Analysis of Demand of Red Meat, Fish and Chicken Using Full Demand System Approach

Abstract

In this study, it was aimed to estimate Linearized Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/AIDS) for red meat, fish and chicken using cross-section data collected from central district of Isparta province. Research results showed that average household income is 836.64 YTL/month and the ratio of food expenditure to total expenditure is found as %33.55. In the research area, per capita consumption of red meat, chicken and fish was estimated as 0.597, 1.03 and 1.142 kg/month, respectively. According to the results of estimated demand system, while expenditure elasticities of red meat and chicken were 0.83, expenditure elasticity of fish was calculated as 1.50. On the other hand, price elasticities of demand for red meat, chicken and fish were calculated as -0.20, -0.12 and - 0.51, respectively, implying that each of the products investigated is inealastic.
