- Articles published in Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Social Sciences are digitally archived in LOCKSS. Additionally, published articles can be made accessible without an embargo period in the institutional archive of the university where the author works, subject-based archives, or any other type of archive. Thus, everyone can access this publication immediately and free of charge.
- Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Social Sciences (e-ISSN: 1304-6373) is pleased to announce its archiving policy in accordance with its policy of supporting the dissemination of research results:
- Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Social Sciences allows authors to use the final published version (publisher PDF) of their articles for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
- Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be cited and a link to the journal homepage or the DOI of the articles must be set.
- Authors can download the article output as a PDF document. Authors can send copies of the article to colleagues without any embargo.
- Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Social Sciences allows all versions of articles (submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be stored in an institutional or other archive of the author's choice without embargo.
LOCKSS Digital Archiving System
The LOCKSS system is used to allow the creation of permanent archives. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS Program offers award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to provide libraries and publishers with permanent and authoritative access to digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of "ensuring the security of many copies."

Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Social Sciences assigns a DOI number to each article that is accepted for publication as a result of editorial evaluations and has completed its processes. According to the DOI Foundation, DOI is "a digital identifier of an object, any object - physical, digital or abstract."
ORCID Requirement
Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Social Sciences requires that the ORCID IDs of article author(s) be included in the article metadata and in the published article file. ORCID defines it as "a free, unique, persistent identifier (PID) for individuals to use when engaging in research, scholarly, and innovation activities."
Repository Policy (Self-Archiving)
Authors can archive all versions of their articles in any open access repository they wish without any embargo period:
- Preprint: Version before article submission
- Postprint: Version accepted after peer review
- Publisher Version: Final published version

Data Archiving
Sharing research data in open archives is also encouraged. Authors can archive research data in TÜBİTAK Aperta Portal or similar international data archives.

Our journal uses the following systems for long-term preservation of published content:

- National preservation with DergiPark archive
- Permanent linking with Crossref
- Permanent identifier archiving with DOI system
