Bulgular: Annelerin %78'i internette bebek bakımı hakkında aradıkları bilgilere ulaşabildiklerini söylemiştir.

Introduction: Neonatal and 0-1 age period is a period when a lot of physical, cognitive and psychosexual changes occur, and therefore parents feel the need to consult very different sources of information. With the development of technology, the internet is used as a common source of information.
Aim: It is to determine the situations of mothers who have babies between 0-1 years of age and use the internet regarding baby care.
Methods: The sample of the descriptive study consisted of 292 mothers with healthy babies between 0-1 years of age and who agreed to participate voluntarily. The data were collected by the questionnaire form created by the researchers in line with the literature. SPSS 15.0 program was used to evaluate the data and p <0.05 value was accepted as statistically significant.
Results: 78% of the mothers stated that they could reach the information which they were looking for about baby care and development on the internet. 88.3% of the mothers stated that they used the internet because they wanted to know more than the information given by health professionals. It was determined that primiparous mothers obtained more information on all issues related to baby care and development from the internet than multiparous mothers and the difference was found to be statistically significant (p<0.05).
Conclusions: It is important for nurses who follow up babies to be aware of the dynamics that affect the baby's health, to expand the content of the trainings they give in order to ensure that mothers get more information on the issues they need, and to guide mothers in using the internet correctly.
