University of Health Sciences Journal of Nursing (UHSJN) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that aims to encourage the development and change of knowledge directly related to all fields of nursing, and to publish quality research on health sciences and society's health problems.

The UHSJN is published three times a year (April, August and December) and is a double-blind anonymous peer-reviewed, open-access online science journal. The total of three issues of the journal published in a year constitute one volume of the journal. The timely publication of the journal is one of the main principles of the journal. A DOI tag is assigned to each article published in the journal.

The language of publication of the UHSJN is Turkish and English. As of the beginning of the publication process of our journal, ORCID ID numbers are given on the cover page of the article. There is no specific volume and issue focused calendar regarding the publication process of the articles submitted by the authors. Authors can submit their articles at any time. The articles whose evaluation process has been completed are published based on the acceptance date priority.

Submission of articles by the authors to the UHSJN is done electronically. All of the evaluation processes for all articles submitted to the journal (correspondence, assignment of articles to reviewers, requesting corrections from the author (if any), reviewing by the editor, and notification to the authors whether they are accepted or rejected for publication) are carried out electronically (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/sbuhemsirelik). All articles submitted by the authors to our journal are checked for similarity or plagiarism with the similarity program IThenticate (www.ithenticate.com).

The UHSJN publishes qualified articles produced by scientific methods in accordance with ethical principles and rules in order to contribute to the development of nursing science. The UHSJN complies with the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommendations (http://www.icmje.org/recommendations) and international standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (https://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines).

The UHSJN adopted the publication model based on the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) declaration. All articles published in the UHSJN can be accessed via the internet without any legal, technical and financial obstacles, these articles can be read, copied, downloaded, printed, distributed, linked to full texts and used for any legal purpose. In this way, our journal realizes the principle of global information sharing by providing readers with free and unlimited information with open access by providing readers with instant access to the content of scientific research via the internet without any charge.

Reviewer Evaluation Reports for all articles published in the UHSJN will be archived to allow examination by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR Index Committee for at least 5 years from the date of publication. Each new issue of the Journal is uploaded to ULAKBIM Online Journal Tracking System (ODIS) as a single PDF file as soon as it is published.
