Sanatsal Rekreasyonun Toplumsal Dinamiklerinin Bourdieu Sosyolojisi Bağlamında İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bireylerin kendilerini yaratıcı bir şekilde ifade etmeleri doğrultusunda boş zamanlarını etkili ve verimli bir şekilde değerlendirmelerini sağlayan sanatsal rekreasyon; görsel sanatlar, müzik, dans, tiyatro dâhil olmak üzere çeşitli sanatsal etkinlikleri kapsamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında sanatsal rekreasyonun toplumsal dinamikleri, Bourdieu sosyolojisi çerçevesinde; kültürel sermaye, habitus ve alan kavramlarının bireylerin sanatsal etkileşim süreçlerinin şekillendirmesi açısından oynadığı role odaklanılarak incelenmektedir. Bu doğrultuda sanat alanı ile habitus arasındaki karşılıklı ilişki; kültürel sermayenin bedenselleşmiş, nesnelleşmiş ve kurumsallaşmış biçimlerinin bireylerin sanat alanına erişim ve katılımını nasıl etkilediği, Bourdieu'nun kavramlarından yararlanılarak sorgulanmaktadır. Sanatsal sermayenin dağılımı ve alan içindeki güç ilişkileri bağlamında sanat alanının kendine özgü yapısına odaklanılmakta, habitus ve kültürel sermayenin bireylerin estetik yargıları ve sanatsal tercihleri üzerindeki etkileri mercek altına alınmaktadır. Bu çalışma, boş zaman değerlendirme çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilen sanatsal etkinlikler aracığıyla kişisel refah, kültürel zenginleşme ve sosyal uyumun yaygınlaştırılması açısından sanatsal rekreasyonun toplumsal dinamiklerinin derinlemesine bir şekilde anlaşılmasının önemini gözler önüne sermektedir.

An Investigation of the Social Dynamics of Artistic Recreation in the Context of Bourdieu’s Sociology

Abstract

Artistic recreation, which enables individuals to evaluate their leisure time effectively and efficiently in line with expressing themselves creatively, includes various artistic activities, including visual arts, music, dance, and theatre. Within the scope of this study, the social dynamics of artistic recreation are examined within the framework of Bourdieu's sociology, focusing on the role of cultural capital, habitus, and field concepts in shaping the artistic interaction processes of individuals. The reciprocal relationship between the field of art and habitus, and how the embodied, objectified, and institutionalised forms of cultural capital affect individuals' access to and participation in the field of art, are explored through Bourdieu's concepts. The specific structure of the field of art is emphasised in the context of the distribution of artistic capital and power relations within the field, and the effects of habitus and cultural capital on individuals' aesthetic judgements and artistic preferences are brought under investigation. This study reveals the importance of an in-depth understanding of the social dynamics of artistic recreation in terms of promoting personal well-being, cultural enrichment, and social cohesion through artistic activities carried out within the framework of leisure.
