Erken Çocukluk Döneminde İnek Sütü ve Bitkisel Bazlı Süt Alternatiflerinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract
Erken çocukluk dönemi her bireyin hayatında önemli bir gelişim dönemi olup, yaşamın daha sonraki evrelerini de etkilemektedir. Yaşamın erken dönemlerinde edinilen alışkanlıklar yetişkinlik döneminde de sürdürülmektedir. Bu dönemde optimal büyüme ve gelişmenin desteklenmesi ile gelecekte oluşabilecek kronik rahatsızlıkların önlenmesi için çocuklara sağlıklı beslenme alışkanlıkları ve davranışlarının kazandırılması önemlidir. İnek sütü alerjisi, laktoz intoleransı, yanlış inanışlar, vegan veya vejeteryanlık gibi beslenme tercihleri ve çevresel kaygılar sebebi ile inek sütü diyetten çıkartılabilmektedir. Buna bağlı olarak inek sütü yerine alternatif olarak düşünülen bitkisel kaynaklı ürünler tüketilebilmektedir.
Bu derleme çalışması erken çocukluk döneminde inek sütünün önemini ve bitki bazlı ürünlerin alternatif bir kaynak olup olamayacağını araştırmayı amaçlamıştır. Bunun yanı sıra ebeveynlere daha geniş bir bakış açısı sunarak, çocukların beslenme ihtiyaçlarını karşılamada daha iyi bir anlayış ve rehberlik sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır.

Investigating the Comparison of Cow's Milk and Plant-Based Milk Alternatives in Early Childhood

Abstract
Early childhood is a critical developmental period for every individual, with lasting implications into later stages of life. The habits formed during this time tend to persist into adulthood. Thus, it is imperative to instill healthy eating habits and behaviors in children to support optimal growth and development, as well as to mitigate the risk of future chronic diseases. Cow's milk exclusion from the diet may be necessary due to cow's milk allergy, lactose intolerance, dietary preferences such as veganism or vegetarianism, or environmental concerns. Consequently, plant-based alternatives to cow's milk are becoming increasingly popular.
This review study aims to explore the significance of cow's milk in early childhood and assess whether plant-based products can serve as viable alternatives. Furthermore, it seeks to offer parents a comprehensive perspective and better guidance for meeting their children's nutritional needs.
