The aim of the journal is to contribute to scientific and social communication by presenting and sharing qualified studies conducted in Turkey and submitted to our journal to the national scientific community and by creating a continuous education platform.

Scientific Responsibility
All authors must have made direct academic and scientific contributions to the submitted manuscript. The corresponding author, who is responsible for communicating with the journal, guarantees that the final version of the manuscript has been reviewed and approved by all authors. By signing the copyright transfer form, authors acknowledge the appointment of the corresponding author, acceptance of the submitted manuscript in its current form, and commitment to its publication in its current form.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Journal of Health Sciences is the publication organ of the SDU Institute of Health Sciences. Its first issue was published in 2010 and continues its publication life uninterruptedly among the Nationally Refereed Journals Accepted by the Süleyman Demirel University Senate. The journal's International Standard Serial Number (e-ISSN) is 2146-247X (online). Publication Ethics
The SDU Journal of Health Sciences is a peer-reviewed journal, and its publication processes are based on the unbiased production, development, and sharing of knowledge generated through scientific methods.

The publication ethics and open access policy of the SDU Journal of Health Sciences have been established in accordance with the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding open access.

Our journal reserves the right to request the output files of the analysis results from authors based on the evaluations made by the editorial board and/or referees. If any data used in the studies is detected to be distorted, manipulated, or fabricated, the author's institution will be officially notified, and the article will be rejected.

Publisher's Ethical Responsibilities

The Editors and Editorial Board of the SDÜ Journal of Health Sciences act with awareness of the following ethical responsibilities:
• Journal editors are responsible for all processes of manuscripts submitted to the journal, making decisions without regard to economic or political gain. They are committed to making independent editorial decisions. • They undertake to maintain ownership and copyright of every article published in the journal and to maintain a record of every published copy.

Editors are responsible for taking measures against all forms of scientific misconduct, citation fraud, and plagiarism.

Editors' Responsibilities

Editors of the SDÜ Health Sciences Journal are responsible for every article submitted to the SDÜ Health Sciences Journal, including all processes following publication. The responsibilities of journal editors are as follows:

• To make independent decisions regarding the journal, solely considering the public interest.

• To make all decisions independently of the publisher and other individuals and organizations, in accordance with the principle of independence between the publisher and editors.

• To strive for the continuous development of the journal and the improvement of its quality.

• To ensure the establishment and implementation of journal policies, such as publication, blind peer review, the evaluation process, and ethical principles.

• To ensure that all published articles are evaluated by appropriately qualified peer reviewers (including statistical evaluation when necessary).
• To protect the copyrights of authors of articles published in the journal.
• To take relevant measures regarding intellectual property rights, unethical scientific behavior, plagiarism, and citation scams during the article and journal publication process.
• To establish policies to motivate reviewers and authors when necessary.
• To electronically store records of each article and journal-related correspondence.

Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

The SDÜ Journal of Health Sciences operates on the principle of double-blind review. In this system, reviewers do not directly communicate with authors. Reviewers submit article evaluation forms, notes on the text, and requests for corrections to authors through the editor through the journal management system. In this context, reviewers who evaluate articles submitted to the Süleyman Demirel University Journal of Health Sciences are expected to have the following ethical responsibilities:
• To agree to evaluate only studies related to their field of expertise.
• To conduct evaluations with impartiality and confidentiality.
• To destroy the final versions of the studies they review after publication, as they can only use them after publication, in accordance with the principle of confidentiality.
• To refuse to review the article when they discover a conflict of interest or a common interest and to inform the journal editor.

• To conduct the evaluation objectively, focusing solely on the content of the study.

• To not allow nationality, gender, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or commercial concerns to influence the evaluation.

• To conduct the evaluation based on academic principles.

Kabul edilen makaleler online olarak yayınlanmaktadır.

Dergi makale süreçlerinin yürütülmesi için gönderim ücreti talep edilmemektedir.

Dergiye gönderilen ya da yayınlanmak üzere kabul edilen makaleler için de yayınlama ücreti alınmamaktadır.

Dergide yayınlanan makalelerin yazarlarına telif ücreti ödenmemekte ve ayrı bir basım (reprint) kopyası verilmemektedir.
