Abstract

Otizmli bireylerde yoğun eğitim programlarının uygulanmasına ve bu uygulamaların sonuçlarına yönelik yapılan çok sayıda çalışma mevcutken oyun terapisinin otizmli bireylerde uygulanması ve sonuçlarına ilişkin sınırlı sayıda çalışma mevcuttur. Oyun terapisinin otizmli bireylerde kullanımına ilişkin sınırlı çalışma olmasına rağmen literatürde yer alan çalışmaların bu bireylerin sosyal becerilerinin gelişimini desteklediği, problem davranışlarının azalmasını sağladığı, sembolik oyun becerilerin gelişmesine yardımcı olduğu, aileleri ile daha sağlıklı iletişim kurmalarını sağladığı yönünde olumlu sonuçlarının yer aldığı görülmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışma ile otizmli bireylerde oyun terapisinin uygulanmasına yönelik bir derleme çalışması yapılmıştır. Derleme çalışmalarında ele alınan konuya ilişkin literatürde yer alan çalışmalar ayrıştırılır ve konuya ait güncel durum özetlenir. Bu doğrultuda yapılan bu çalışmada yazar tarafından konuya ilişkin taramalar yapılarak elde edilen bilgiler aktarılmıştır.
