The influence of Iranian scholar, poet and mystic Molla Câmî (1414-1492) on Turkish Classical Turkish Literature has been far more than it is commonly assumed. Câmî has been recognized by our classical poets as a master , particularly in the fields of religion and mysticism and his works have been translated into Turkish many times. In this paper, we will not only provide brief
information about his work entitled “Mir’âtü'l-Akâid”, or The Mirror of Religious Doctrine, which is composed of of 225 couplets but also discuss a translation of it into Turkish in the verse form by Duhanîzâde - 16th century.
