Abstract

Bu çalışmada Peter L. Berger’in “Sosyolojiye Çağrı: Hümanist Bir Perspektif” isimli kitabı ele alınmaktadır. Giriş niteliğinde bir eser olan kitap, sosyoloji hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak isteyen genel okur ve sosyoloji disiplinine giriş yapan öğrenciler için değerli bir kaynaktır. Her ne kadar dilimize kazandırılması gecikmiş olsa da sosyolojiye çağrısını sürdüren bu kitabın ülkemiz okurlarına ve sosyoloji öğrencilerine tanıtılmasının önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.

Invitation to Sociology: A Humanistic Perspective

Abstract

This study discusses “Invitation to Sociology: A Humanistic Perspective,” written by Peter L. Berger. As an introductory work, the book is a valuable resource for new students of sociology as well as ordinary readers who want to have knowledge about sociology. Although the translation of this book into our language has been belated, it is believed that it is important to introduce this book, which continues to invite people to sociology, to the readers and sociology students in our country.
